Learning Basics: Optical fiber

Optical fibers carry digital data signals in the form of modulated pulses of light. This is a relatively safe way to send data because unlike copper cables that carry data in the form of electronic signals. This means that optical fiber cable cannot be tapped, and its data cannot be stolen. Optical fiber is good for very high-speed, high-capacity data transmission because of the purity of the signal and lack of signal attenuation. Due to its many advantages, optical fiber is known as the most important innovation in broadband technology.  
So here a question that occurs in everyone’s mind: Is wireless internet more reliable and efficient than optical fiber? Wireless internet and Optical fiber both need the same and significant infrastructure, which limits access in some areas. And if we talk about reliability, then optical fiber bridges that gap by conveying clear signals much further distances than wireless internet.
